In this Sacrament of the Catholic Church, man and a woman receive a call from God to enter into a union based on love and commitment to each other. It signifies a covenant in which both partners vow to be faithful, fruitful, and loyal to one another and God.

A wedding is a time of rejoicing. It celebrates the union of people who love one another and wish to spend a lifetime together, with the blessing of God and the Church, and in the presence of family and friends. The celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage is a public event, which must be witnessed in order for the marriage to be recognized.

There are several steps that are required to marry within the Catholic Church. Please go to Steps to Getting Married which provides the important information that you need. After reading this information, contact the Parish office to arrange a meeting with our Pastor and setting the wedding date at St Stephen.
